,have you tried Zicam. I works best if you start it as soon as you feel the cold coming on, but it still may help to shorten the time you have to suffer. Hi ,I don't have any suggestions for food. I usually just eat popsicles when I'm sick. BUT..as far as medicine Advil Cold & Sinus always makes me feel a lot better and doesn't make me drowsy. It really helps with the stuffy drippy nose and any aches and pains. Steamy hot showers help me also.
