Guest guest
hi everyone. i haven't posted or even read any messages in ages. but as usual, i show up when i have a question. emma will be casted for her second DOC band on thursday, and when we met with the craniofacial surgeon who gave us the script for the second band, he said it's not impossible that she'll need a third one. has anyone had this happen? i don't remember reading anywhere where someone needed a third band. the surgeon said she hasn't had any real major growth spurts yet. she'll be 11 months on saturday and at her 9 month well baby visit she was in the 20th percentile for weight, 50th for length, and 75th for head size. my other question is, if she isn't growing (quickly) and that's why we haven't had much success with the first band, then how could she have outgrown the first one in less than 4 months? looking forward to your responses, amy mom to emma (born 9/24/01)
