Guest guest
Hi All, I recently joined your group. RA 23 years (I'm 45) and I've been on permanent disability for 10 years. Have had multiple joint replacement surgeries but thankfully I do not have to take anything addictive for my RA. I recently started the Humira and take it along with all the other stuff I'm on. > From: NELLIESTAR@... > But my first symptom was drying > of the eyes, Sjogren's syndrome Yesterday I went for an eye examination as I have dry eyes too because of the RA. The doctor said there is a procedure where a surgeon can place a little plastic dam in my eyes to keep what little precious tears I do have and keep them in the eyes and from going down my nose. Has anyone ever heard of this or had it done and was it successful? Thanks. A big thing that helps me is writing a daily gratitude list. Best Wishes, Dodie Northwest PA
