Yes, I think some people think I am going " overboard. " People are

always saying " I don't see anything wrong, " and look at my like I am

a high strung mom or something. I just think " look, he is MY baby.

His right ear is 19 MM IN FRONT OF THE LEFT! " Do they really think I

would subject my baby and wallet to a helmet if I didn't think it was

neccessary? Sheesh.

That's kind of hilarious when I think about it - I can

just see myself yelling " For pete's sake - look at her

eye!!!! " Ack!

Good luck at tomorrows fitting appt! I'm sure Vivian will adjust to

it just fine, I totally expected Abby to hate it,not sleep, etc., but

she did great with it.

And yes, I have totally felt the way you described. I got pretty

annoyed with the " is that to protect her from falling " comments about

her band! Gimme a break, I'm not THAT protective of her! Don't

worry though, who cares what others think.

Thanks for the words of support. At least you all

know how I feel, which is comforting. Someone in the

tort group made a comment yesterday about how we all

care enough about our children that we actually seek

out and are willing to share our concerns, doubts,

fears, and joy with strangers. That's very touching

when you think about it.

I will let you know how it went!
