Guest guest
Excuse, but not quite got onto how to respond to certain issue -- Just wanted to say after 20 years of RA I suddenly had terrifically high lymphocyte count and very low neutrophil. A bone marrow test concluded it was Non-Hodgsons T Gamma Lymphoprolific Disease (mouthful). After questioning doctos they said it was a form of Leukemia which did happen sometimes from RA and nothing needed to be done unless blood tests showed it worsening. Good news is after several months blood count returned to normal, so I don't know if it is in remission or a mistaken diagnosis. I did quit the Imuran when trouble started so possibly this was cause - who knows. I feel like anything can happen with this disease and the need for these meds, and decided not to worry about it till something else crops up...wouldn't give up Enbrel for anything!
