Mya's 2nd Band Update

Well Mya is in her 2nd band. Shes doing ok but it was a rough start.

She immediately started screaming and crying when they were trying to

put it on her she was slapping at it and moving out of the way. When

they finally got it on she kept pulling at it. But in a few minutes

of wearing it she was calmed down. We then went to our hotel and it

was pouring raining so we were all bored to death in that tiny little

room for hours before it was bed time. Mya was not happy with the

band she kept pulling on it and yelling and pulling on it some more.

But she did sleep pretty good all night especially since we were in a

new place. She did wear the band allnight long so that was good. She

isnt having any problems with red spots KNOCK ON WOOD! JEESh I

shouldnt have typed that cause I might have Jinxed myself!! well

anyway she had learned how to undo the velcro she not only undoes the

velcro but she pulls it out of the little metal thing and then tries

to get the band off. Shes way to smart for her own good. On the drive

home she had the velcro off and the band half way off I had to pull

over and fix it and scold her for taking it off. I said Mya NO! and

her little lip quivered! I felt so bad so I had to hug her. I just

dont know what Im going to do if she keeps trying to take it off. Has

anyone had this happen before? ANy suggestions? She is sleeping in it

fine now she went to bed no problem just like normal. She wasnt able

to wear it half of today because when we got home not only did I have

a note on my door from animal control saying if I dont confine my

dogs there going to take them (they keep gettingout for like 2 weeks

now) but besides that I walked in the house and it was 95 degrees in

my house NO JOKE! My air had broken! UGHHH So anyway I couldnt keep

her in the band her hair was soaking wet and she was sooo miserable.

I am soo thankful that 2 men from my church came over and fixed it

for me!! So we do have air tonight and I was able to put myas band

back on. Well that is my update and its been a rough couple days so I

need to get some sleep!!
