Guest guest
We have the most awesome pediatric dentist, and this morning I got confirmation on why I have thought that all along. It was time for 's (Sam and Sara's big sis) checkup, so the whole family went along. The dentist was checking for TMJ, so I decided to ask her what she thinks about plagio and dental issues and if they are related. She definitely thinks so. I told her that Sam and Sara had been treated for plagio and that I am fighting the insurance company for reimbursement for their bands. She was so concerned that after she finished with , she put on a clean pair of gloves and checked the babies bites and jaw alignment. They are fine right now, which is why we proceeded to band them in the first place. She was well aware of the concept of intra-uterine constraint and that their head shape was a bit out of our control (at least until they were born). She was also disgusted that the insurance companies don't take a more preventative approach when approving or denying claims. Why is it that everyone besides Cigna can see that plagio is more than just a cosmetic issue? So now I am kicking myself you know where wishing that I had thought to take the babies to see her when this all began. I'm sure she would've written a letter. First thing Monday morning I am going to try to contact the External Review committee and see if I can still submit a letter from the dentist. If anyone in or near Dallas wants the name of a plagio friendly dentist, just let me know. We think she's great. Guest guest
Gail: Wow, I can only hope this dentist will relocate to Michigan next year. She sounds wonderful. How did 's check up go? TMJ? I'll be a nervous wreck taking Abby to the dentist next year! Continuing good luck with Cigna Debbie Abby's mom DOCGrad MI > We have the most awesome pediatric dentist, and this morning I got confirmation on why I have thought that all along. Guest guest
's checkup was great - a perfect bite, no TMJ, no cavities, and a great report for hygiene. Not bad when considering the gene pool that she comes from. I highly recommend a pedi dentist and then there will be no need to worry. thinks it's great. When she's all done, they give her tokens to get a prize out of a machine, kinda like in the grocery store. You can bet that the kids are on their best behavior. For days she will be talking about the next time she gets to go to the dentist. Gail Re: Plagio friendly dentist Gail:Wow, I can only hope this dentist will relocate to Michigan next year.
