I think its pretty sad that a bill would have to be introduced for teachers and parapros to have a duty free lunch. This should be a giving but again we are talking about Georgia.

HB 994 Duty Free Lunch Periods for Teachers- Needs Your Support

Please support a House Bill 994 that would allow all teachers from kindergarten thru 12th grade to have a full 30 minutes of lunch without other duties. Our teachers and paraprofessionals deserve this time to eat and not be assigned any responsibilities. This bill acknowledges that teachers are professionals and seeks to ensure that they receive professional courtesies!
