Guest guest
, You sound exactly like me. I also look sometimes..and say wow...i see improvement..and then i look at other times and say..no..it's exactly the same. I dont' understand.... It kind of discouraged me that she wanted us to come back every 2 weeks instead of every week...but when i asked her in the beginning how long it will take..she told me she can't tell me for sure..but usually babies this age it's around 2-3 months...maybe a little longer...so i'm hoping wont' need it for longer than that. I mean the helmet is not that bad...and sometimes i like it..b/c he's crawling now and sitting up..and he falls back..and the helmet protects his head....but i really can't wait till this is all done!! is 7 months too..almost 7 1/2 months..so i guess they tell you after 7 months to come back every 2 weeks... I'm going tonight...and i'm hoping so much that she says he's had some good growth..b/c i just can't tell. She has his headsicle already..so we should be able to tell with that. and i'm going to ask if she can tell me how long he'll probably have to wear it and i'm hoping so much she doesn't say more than 3 or 4 months... She did tell me last time that she really doubts if he'll need a 2nd band..so i'm assuming it will be less than 4 months..i hope...and it's been 3 weeks now.... The cranial dr told me that he would have to wear it for probably 8 weeks...but i bet it will be longer than that..... Charlotte said she wanted to see him in two weeks now. I asked her how long before she can estimate his treatment time. She said she needs to get the headsicle first to compare. So, I don't know. I was hoping he'd be out of it by Christmas, but now I don't know if that is realistic since he is 7 months old already. One day at a time!! Guest guest
, Logan is so cute!! I don't think the tilt looks all that bad- it looks like he's pulling up that shoulder more so than tilting. Try massaging the right arm down, just pulling down also lightly to seperate that neck and shoulder. Don't be discouraged with the tilt, it does come and go and it will drive you nuts, just keep up with the stretching as much as possible also- the tilt will be the last to go. Logan looks great! Guest guest
, I did see the headsicle...but it was 2 weeks ago..and then was only in the helmet 1 week...so it was really hard to tell. You can see that on the bottom of his head...it seems like it is starting to come out...which Charlotte had said that there was some growth on his occipital bone so i know it's true..but that was 2 weeks ago. I keep checking his head when his helmet is off...and especially in the bath..and one time i'll look and be like...yea...i see it rounding some..but then other times i'll look..and i'll say...it's still just as flat. So i don't know. My big fear is going tonight and Charlotte saying...not much growth...it will take a long time or it might not work. But i'm hoping that's not the case. My husband said...even if he didn't have much growth yet...it could be he didn't hit a big growth spurt yet.... but i'm want to see the headsicle and 's head tonight.. I can understand why you want Logan to be done quick...so you can go back to Utah. If you come closer to the East coast though...i'm in NJ...that would be cool if you moved closer to me...maybe we'd be able to hang out...our sons are about the same age. But i know you would much prefer to go back home. Well..at least we are going through the same things at the same time.... The only problem we have with the helmet now..is that it constantly scrunches up his nose..and no matter how many times we try to fix it....it keeps happening. Especially when justin tries to look up. Charlotte tried to shave some off the back of the bottom last time...but it's not helping...so i don't know. I'll write about our appt tonight! Yeah, I am kind of bummed about going every other week. Of course, I hate the drive so I'm not upset about that. I am in a hurry to get Logan done just because our near future will be decided by when he's done. Dh is finishing dental school. Once he is done, if Logan isn't done then will look for work out here. If Logan finishes soon then we can go back to Utah and practice there. I REALLLY want to be "home" (Utah) for Christmas. Our lease is up Dec 1st, so we will either be moving to Utah or to somewhere closer to Cranial Tech. *sigh* I am afraid if starts practicing out East, I'll never get back West!! -/Logan 7 months

Guest guest
He is so darn cute!!! Taryn 's mom Two weeks in DOC band-pic Logan got a bit more of his band shaved off yesterday.
