Hah! Glad I'm not the only dork around here! And Jon

Bon is a total hottie! Grrrrr!

It was very hard with my dad. He had a brain tumor

for some time, but was very ill in the few months

before Viv's birth. We knew that he was going to pass

soon, and everyone swears that he waited for her to

come. We called my mom right after she was born, she

went to the hospital with my brother & his wife. They

told him about her arrival, then he died 20 minutes

later.

It was awful, I still get upset when I realize that he

will never know her, or get to hold her (and vice

versa), but yet her arriving on that day was the best

thing that could happen for the rest of us. Life goes

on, and I like to think they passed each other and she

carries a little bit of him with her. And now she has

her own special angel.

What a sad story, . I can't even imagine the joy of giving birth to Vivian and the grief of losing your dad. That is so wonderful how you look at it. Vivian will know her grandpa because you will tell her all about him. She will carry a piece of him with her no matter what. My heart goes out to all of you.
