Guest guest
How do I handle it?! I cry a lot!! ;o) I really don't have too many ideas for twins' birthdays, other than what you already know. While they are still young, I like to play up that they are twins by getting two of the same things (only slightly different, like the cakes, different scenes but same characters. one chocolate, one yellow). I figure once they get older, I'll let them pick out their own theme. But since they are too young to really remember anything down the road...what I say goes! Let me tell you, at the rate Kay and Danny are going, they will be lucky to see their third birthday. Naps have become absolute horrors! They used to go up at noon for their naps, but layely they are playing for ever up there before they fall asleep. So I moved it back to 2 that I would put them down, and still they would play forever. I mean like 2 hours. I know that seems like a really exorbitant amount of time, but I was checking on them every so often. They still need these naps, heck I need them to nap. Today when I went up to check on them and lay them back down, not only had they taken the sheets off their beds (again!) but they had taken their MATTRESSES off the beds! Kay's mattress was totally flat on the floor, and Danny's was leaning against the bed frame. Don't you know they were sliding down his mattress saying 'Wheeeeeeeeee!' Do you think people would frown upon me duct taping them into bed?! Just kidding. As much as I hate the phrase 'Double Trouble', they are living up to it! Niki (closet SpongeBob fan! 'Oh Barnacles!') Double Trouble Phila., PA > Niki, > They all look so happy. Love the Sponge Bob theme. watched Sponge Bob videos all the way to Michigan and back on our vacation a few weeks ago. I like the 2 separate cakes for the twins, and I know that you sang to each of them and will alternate each year. Do you have any other suggestions for twin birthday parties? I have to start thinking about that for Sam and Sara really soon. I can't believe my babies will be a year old next month! The first pic is of my oldest, , with Danny Boy (who happens to be my youngest!) Then's there's a pic of Kaylie eating her cake. Like her mommy, nothing can tear her away from eating cake, not even smiling for the camera! And I'm also throwing in a pic of my son Patch () so that he's not left out. Of all the pics, the one with Patch is my fave, the expression on his face just makes me laugh! By the way, that's my dad in the background, the man is 50 years old and he's in the same shape as he was at 25....oh, to have his metabolism! Thanks for looking! > > Niki~ and the gang > > > > > > -------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------- >
