Guest guest
Thanks for your update! I am so happy to hear Gus was fortunate enough to have the laser scanning cast done...that is terrific. I know how sad it can be to think of your baby's days being spent in a band for the next several mos., at first it can be very hard on us parents, it was on me! But after a while you'll get used to it & forget it's even on Gus's head. He'll be fine & he'll thank you for it 10 yrs from now. Why won't your ins. cover it? What ins. do yuo have? Don't give up with out a fight. Debbie Abby's mom DOCGrad MI > Thanks to everyone who replied to my first post. Our appointment at > Stanford went very well. Guest guest
Our insurance company says that we have to go to an in network helmet provider, but the nearest one is in LA... We are appealling. > Why won't your ins. cover it? What ins. do yuo have? Don't give up > with out a fight.
Guest guest
Thanks for the update on Gus! No matter how many times I hear about the STARscanner, I get jealous each time! I really wish something like that had been available before. When are you expecting to be able to go in and get the band fitted? I wish you luck with it, and with your insurance. I know it all seems very daunting right now and that the time in the band is going to drag on forever, but it really does fly by, at least that was my experience! Good luck, and keep us posted! We are appealling. Yeah, definitely appeal that, especially if there are NO in network providers, you might have a good fight there. Good luck - keep us posted.
