Guest guest
Ken, Great job! I love the blue and cream- your giving me ideas- especially since we've got the navajo white which looks a little like cream colored!! We just bought a Noah's ark toy chest from ABC Distributing- you can check them out online. It was $40 (+ s/h), and its a real deal considering the artwork alone (handpainted) would probably cost more than that to hire someone to do it- they really did a great job and on the top it says, " two by two " . Hmmmm, that would look great in your babies room!

All those hours spent listening to HGTV (while my wife watched and I played computer games) have made me into a decorating maven. you are too creative Ken- want to get married in our next lifetime. Guest guest
Thanks..I have no artistic ability whatsoever and I wish I could paint like her also. I know exactly how you feel!!! Taryn 's mom Re:Ken - picture Taryn,Your mother did such beautiful work!!! That looks so neat.I wish I could paint like that. Maybe I should try learning now and by the time baby #2 is around I might be able to paint at least a stick figure on the wall. hehe & (5.5 month, banded 8/26/02)> > Ken,> > Zoey is so cute! Guest guest
Thanks, Ken!!! I love that my mom is able to paint like she does. It is definitely therapy for her and I think it's awesome that I will be able to show pics when she gets older and tell her her grandma painted that especially for her. Paige is really pretty (which is 's middle name also) and the carpenter dude is Ty and he is definitely hot too. Taryn 's mom Re:Ken - picture Wow..that looks awesome Taryn! See you don't need to have artistic ability yourself..if you have a relative willing to that kind of thing for you! I agree re: Trading Spaces..I think Paige is super hot (and my wife likes the carpenter dude)..so we're both happy!KenZack and Zoey's dad> > Ken,> > Zoey is so cute! Guest guest
Taryn- The mural is awesome! Does your mom do this professionally at at? If not she should. Wall muralists can make a bunch of money doing something they love. I also love Trading Spaces - my hubby thinks I am addicted and he's sick of watching it. Oh well! I can't wait till we finish our basement so I can use some of their ideas! & Vivian --- Taryn Schilling <devynskye1@...> wrote: > I have attached a picture of what my mom painted in > 's room of Noah's Ark. Guest guest
She has done a few projects professionally but with being my 96-year-old, Alzheimer's ridden grandmother's full-time caregiver and working she has little to no time to do things. I wish we had time to redecorate and remodel. We have done little projects in the house like our bedroom with carpeting, repainting, and touch ups, 's room, in the bathroom I am waiting to get my whirlpool tub in, and we did laminate flooring in the kitchen. We also did carpet in the living room and downstairs. Little by little and I guess that's not bad considering we've only lived here 3 years now. Taryn 's mom Re:Ken - picture> > > Thanks ! Guest guest
That's a ton to do - you should feel accomplished! My Girlfriend just finished re-doing her bathroom - it took them 9 months! Ack! So you're way ahead of the game. That's too bad that your mon can't share her talent with everyone. Someday. It sounds like she has her hands full, what a great person to be able to take care of her mum like that. My dad died of cancer the day Viv was born, and my mom tookcare of him for two years until she just couldn't anymore. He was in the hospital for a month and then passed after Viv was born. People that can do that are saints if you ask me. & Vivian --- Taryn Schilling <devynskye1@...> wrote: > She has done a few projects professionally but with > being my 96-year-old, Alzheimer's ridden > grandmother's full-time caregiver and working she > has little to no time to do things. Guest guest
My husband is really the one who has done it all. I guess you could say I was the supervisor!!! I just am not any good when it comes to mechanical things. He loves putting together shelves and things that require directions. I have no patience when it comes to that. The bathroom is going to take a long time as we have to virtually replace everything from the floor to some of the drywall. My mother is definitely a saint for taking care of my gram and I try to let her know every day how wonderful I think she is. Taryn 's mom Re:Ken - picture> > > > > > Thanks !
