Guest guest
I am adding the chiro because my son also has a processing disorder and I am wondering if this may help his thought processing. I addition, I cannot help but think that possibly a chiro and good alignment would contribute to good mental health in general, if you know what I mean. I count my blessings every day that he is doing so well. We realize this may not last forever ... you never know what is going to happen from day to day, but he has been great for 1 1/2 years and so I will take it. Kind Regards, barb <barbnesrallah@...> wrote: Reposted to as realized subject heading not appropriate. Hi , Ok, I'm jealous. We do all that stuff and more, minus the focus factor (please describe ingredients), but it did not do it. Just had to say it out loud! Also, if there are no ocd symptoms I'm just wondering why you are adding the chiro? And did you have success with the homeopathic person? I have done all this stuff for our son's anxiety and LD, allergies since he was young, and while it helped in general it never quite did it. When adolescents hit, that was it, game over, nothing could contain... We were set to do the neuro testing a year ago, but never got past the inability to pee in a cup... Now that the drugs are on board don't think there's much point anymore. Just wanted to share and ask specifics of your regime. My son, currently does not take any meds and takes a calcium/magnesium supplement as well as a b complex, fish oil and focus factor. We went through a homeopathic doctor and we are as well adding a chiropractor next week. His ocd symptoms are non- existent. > > If your son is so sensitive to meds, it may be worth a shot to have some testing done on him for deficiencies and try to build him up. I know others have done neurotransmitter testing - I think Joy. Guest guest
Good luck with the chiro I hope it does help. What is his processing disorder. Our son has an auditory processing disorder in addition to other LD stuff, find this really contributes to the challenges around ocd. Glad your son has had relief from the ocd for such a good length of time. Sorry, I can't keep track, how old is your son? Did he do CBT? If so, how long did it take to turn things around.
