Where are you guys located? I know at Lucas appt the neuro had some rattles and things, but actually just ended up using a toy he was entranced with. We were not there long only 20-25 minutes. Since we had already had the x-rays done they were not repeated. I know others on the list have said if a CT is done they are sedated, I was glad we jut had an x-rays.

What to expect at 's neuro appt.?

What should I expect when we go to 's neurosurgeon appt.? Will he do a CT scan or x-rays? I have no clue what we should expect to be done and if we should bring any distraction items for her or what. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I noticed also we have a Hanger in town her that says prosthetics and orthotics on their sign. Does anyone know if they make helmets and about how much they cost if anyone has dealt with them? It would be so nice to be here locally since we will have to take her back there often.

I am in Michigan City, Indiana and we are going to The University of Chicago. Thanks for the good luck you are sending. Sometimes I think we need all the luck we can get. had to go to the regular doctor last week for her first ear infection and screamed due to being held down and examined so I can imagine the ordeal it will be for her at the NS. She is usually my happy, smiley baby who never cries but once you start holding her down she lets you know she is not happy.
