Guest guest
- I have bought Mustela products at babycenter.com and babystyle.com before. You might want to type it into shopping to find a better price. How is Lucas doing in his band? Any more trips to OKC? Guest guest
, You can also go to www.mustelausa.com and they have a directory of online stores or a store locator. I would definitely continue wiping the band with alcohol just to make sure no bacteria builds up. I've been spraying alcohol liberally all over the inside of 's band with a spray bottle and putting the band in the sun to dry. The cleansing liquid is " no rinse " but I use a wet washcloth when I rub it on 's head just to dilute it a little. I make sure her head is completely dry before I put the helmet back on also. Let me know if it work for you. I couldn't stand that smell!!! & (5.5 months, banded 8/26/02) > > , > > This sounds exactly what we need to be using for Lucas's band. > Can you tell me where you got it or where I can find it? Guest guest
My daughter is had a bad seating problem in her band also. We were told by her OT to wipe all the oil bild up places with a dry washcloth and then use the alcohol solution. I tried it and it work pretty good. Also, I knoe it sounds stupid, but put a thin panty liner in the area(s) that sweat the most. That will keep the band from soaking up the odor. I don't know if they told you or not, but the material inside the band is a breathing material and the bild up of oil will keep the sweat inside the helmet. Also, heat rash will occur if the band can't breath. Hope that helps. mommy to is 10m-- - In Plagiocephaly@y..., " ems_jen " <jenferh@h...> wrote: > , > > You can also go to www.mustelausa.com and they have a directory of > online stores or a store locator.
