Guest guest
Kathy, Well, I've been there too. I hope you feel okay about your decision. Sometimes it's choosing the lesser of 2 evils, unfortunately. I often wish I could do all the things that my friends do with their kids (come and go, exotic vacations, etc)., and get resentful about it, but am okay most of the time. I hope your husband is understanding. Hugs to you, Dina
Guest guest
Kathy, I am so sorry that you decided not to go away. Maybe next time you can find someone to stay with the kids overnight at your own home and go away during the week, so that they are at school during the day. We have always had to hire our help with my younger, profoundly disabled child. My husband's family who live in town have NEVER offered to help. Again - I hope that you reschedule soon.
