Guest guest
I am doing okay just very busy. I have good days and bad days. I deal with very insensitive in-laws so have been dealing with their comments about my weight and various other things lately. It's just getting very old but nothing new. I was feeling 's head tonight and kissing her and got a little teary-eyed knowing I may not be able to do that all the time anymore if she gets banded. I know I shouldn't be emotional like this as I don't even know what's going to happen yet and you all have been through SO much more than we have. I take it day by day and we will cross that bridge when we get to it. I said one nice thing will be her head will stay warm for the winter!! I will keep everyone posted about her appt. on Thurs. and thank you so much for wondering how I am doing. Taryn 's mom taryn Hey Taryn I was just wondering how you were doing? Any meltdowns lately- hope not:-)beck For more plagio info
Guest guest
Thanks so much for the support, !!! It's horrible to have to deal with such miserable people all the time and they just bring us down and cause problems for us. I am glad things are going better for you. It is getting to the point where it will have to come down to something being said by someone. Taryn 's mom taryn Hey Taryn I was just wondering how you were doing? Guest guest
I deal with very insensitive in-laws so have been dealing with their comments Taryn- Don't even get me started on this. Guy's mom is the devil in disguise! Actually she doesn't even disguise herself anymore. Thank goodness she lives over 1000 miles from us. We haven't seen her in 2.5 years. We don't want our kids to be exposed to her rude and condescending behavior, so we don't really have much contact with her anymore- just when she calls every couple of months and she and dh get into another fight. I am lucky that dh is not a momma's boy. I guess I couldn't expect him to be as she left him an moved across the country when he was just 14. If you ever want to feel better about your in-laws, just email me and I can share some bizarre tales to make you feel better. I think we all should be on the Jerry Springer show. Thank God FIL and SMIL are relatively " normal " !

I agree- my family and friends and Doctor would pacify me, making me feel like I was overreacting, and then I would come online and find myself feeling justified for my thinking, and learned to listen to that mommy instinct! Guest guest
Hi Taryn. It really is a great group, huh? I've been a member for well over a year and my son's plagio concerns are much in the past. We've moved on to tantrums now. Even so, I haven't been able to leave. I feel like I've bonded with a great group of moms out there who have been there and know. When my son was in the middle of this, it was hard enough to get even my own mom to listen to me, especially since most had not heard of plagio when my son was going through it, so it was great to see a group online that had 900 members when I joined. I think it has grown considerably since then. So I totally know what you mean. : ) Kellie, mom of , 20 months Olympia, WA
Guest guest
This group is so wonderful and I don't know how I can ever repay you all for being there for me and listening to me when no one else would even though you all have problems and concerns of your own. Taryn, Stick around and share your journey with other parents- that's what its all about, lending a hand to someone that's a few steps behind you and pulling them through! You've already gotten a lot of tread on plagio, so your shared information will no doubt help or inform someone else behind you.
