HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DANE!!! I can't get pics here at work, but I'm

sure they're awefully cute.

It is definitely a good thing you were induced before the 11th.

That's not a day you'd want to celebrate the birth of your baby

on.....how sad.

Any big parties planned? Abby would love to come - she's going thru

the exact thing you said Olivia went thru with wanting parties every

stinking day! We have to get our Barney hats & blowers out, light a

candle, the works. I'm waiting for the cat party soon! LOL

> Today is Dane's bday (9:10pm on 9/10!).

> I was going to bore all of you with our long story, but I was way

too wordy. I thank God I was induced. Otherwise I know he would

have been born 9/11. We probably would have had trouble getting the

hospital since they evacuated downtown Cleveland. We certainly would

have taken Olivia with us b/c we colnd never have gotten her to my

parents.

> For the first week of his life, I was so scared. I thought he

never make it this far.

> Long story short, Dane crashed about 45 minutes after birth (very

easy labor). He came home 11 days later on medicine and an apnea

monitor. He had the million dollar workup at the hospital to find

out that he had reflux! I have attached a picture of him with his

EEG leads on to show you that he was able to turn his head to the

left. 8 weeks later he couldn't do that anymore b/c we had been told

to exclusively lay him on his right side, so he got tort and plagio.

> They took all those EEG leads and pulled them in a ponytail. He

looked like Clinton! Too bad I don't have a picture of that!

> He is doing great now. I was always worried about damage due to

his oxygen desaturation levels after birth. I'm happy to say that he

is on his way to being a genius.

band.

> I must say I miss that band. He looked too damn cute in it! Isn't

that terribly silly!
