Jill, For the most part, Kaylie and Danny are really good about using a fork or a spoon. But I am constantly reminding Patch to use a fork. And when he does use one, instead of stabbing the food with the fork, he picks the food up in his left hand and pushes in onto the fork that he's holding in his right hand. He's still getting his hands dirty, so its totally defeating the purpose. Oh well, I'm choosing my mealtime battles. Right now the older two are going through a phase where they hate everything I make for dinner. So if they are acyually eating, I'm not going to fight them on how they get it in their mouths. Remember in the movie 'Christmas Story' where the mom asks Randy to show her how the piggies eat? I have resorted to that. Niki
