Guest guest
Both of my children, one diagnosed with special needs & the other with autism, are in the same class in Dekalb County. When they started school there was a teacher and 2 aides with 7 students. They had more kindergarten students than expected at the school, so one of the aides was removed from my sons' class. So now it's 1 teacher and 1 aide and now 6 kids (a child moved) in the class. The teachers aide has lunch duty daily which removes her from the classroom at least 30 minutes to an hour. I would like to know who could I talk to about the situation to at least have the teachers aide not have lunch duty? I talked to the principal who may have misunderstood me or pretended, either way nothing was done. I'm new to the area, so thanks to anyone that could help.
