Guest guest
Matt & , Things seem to be going great for you and a. I'm not surprised at all that you are already seeing a difference, especially with a being only 4 months old! We saw improvement in the first week as well, and my babies were 5 1/2 months old when they got their bands. Before you know it she will be a grad! Way to go a. Gail, Sam and Sara's mom, DOC grads a has her band! With everything going on with us, we forgot to post to say that a got her band. A huge thank you to everyone who helped guide us through this process. The advice and support we've gotten here has been an enormous help through this process.Things seem to be going pretty well - we've had to go back a couple of time to get the band adjusted due to redness. We think we are catching her at a growth spurt because the band will fit great for a couple of days and then give her problems all of a sudden. Her head seems to be a bit rounder already (its been just about 1 week). I don't think this is just wishful thinking as some of my friends have commented on the improvement.a tolerates the band very well - she doesn't even complain when her little head is very red and chafed. Now, we are just waiting for the final word from our insurance company. We got a preliminary letter confirming that the DOC Band is a covered benefit - we just need their final determination of how much they will pay. Still, it feels like we are, at least, starting off on an optomistic note with them. Thanks again for all the help - we couldn't have made it so far so quickly without everyone in this group.Best,Matt & (Parents to a - 4 months)For more plagio info
Guest guest
Hi Matt and , Great news!!! Glad to hear that a has her band and you have already seen improvement!! At 4 months old, there is no doubt that a is growing rapidly, my son was banded a week shy of 5 months old and we were at CT each week, and each time their was growth- so tell your friends it can happen!! You will see great results and I hope the chafing is not too bad. Good luck and wishing you continued success with it, please keep us posted- she'll be a graduate before you know it.
