OT Looking for diabetes support

Hello all!

I am an old member, still lurking here though! My son was in a DOC

Band last year. Anyway, I come here again to all you wonderful people

looking for support for a different reason! I am looking for an

online diabetes support group. (My husband has Type 1 diabetes, and

we have been having some major problems lately with his maintenence)

Anyway, I have looked at a lot of the diabetes groups, but they

are all relatively small. (I think I am just spoiled to this group,

where you get immediate responses and support from so many great

people!!! I was wondering if anyone could direct me to another

place for online support groups...or any other advice on where to go??

I need to vent and ask questions, etc etc. I am very stressed over my

husband's sudden instability and I just figure there must be people

out there in the same boat!! Any input would be appreciated!!!!

Hello there...I know I am late responding to this but I have been busy, busy, busy lately with 's therapy and doctor's appts. and cleaning house, working, etc. I found this by searching on www.google.com.

Google is a great search engine for medical information and you may be able to find some support groups this way. I wish you and your husband the best of luck in his condition and your search for a support group. I experienced gestational diabetes and it was very frustrating to deal with for 3 months. I couldn't imagine dealing with it on a daily basis. My heart goes out to you and your husband!!!
