Guest guest
Kristi, Don't worry, your just working yourself up to the big moment- you can do it!!!! Try again next week and don't think so hard about it, you might talk yourself out of it, just go without giving it another thought. The Doctor may even apologize to you! Guest guest
I chickened out and didn't go to church on Sunday. We were trying to go to the earlier mass so we wouldn't have to see the dr, but we should have known there was no way we'd be able to get the two kids up and going and to church by 8am! Anyway, we had plenty of time to get to the 10:30 mass (our usual time and also the dr's) but I dilly dallyed and then threw up my hands and said, " Oh well, we're not going to make it, I guess we're not going! " I'll try again next week! Kristi (4) and (1yr today!! - banded 9/14/02 ) > I second what Kellie said 150%....don't let that doctor intimidate you and you go and be proud that you are doing this for . If you ask me, the doctor is the one who is being a bad Christian by not encouraging you to take care of ' condition. What happened at church today? > > Taryn > 's mom > Re: O.k. I'm and insensitive idiot.... > > > Kristi, > > Do not leave that helmet off and give that dr the satisfaction of thinking that she was right and that you didn't get the helmet. Since she does go to your church, she'll not only see your baby with the helmet on, she'll also see his nice round head once he's finished and she'll know how wrong she was. Don't feel like a bad Christian for your son wearing the helmet in front of her. She should feel like a bad doctor for dismissing it. > > Kellie >
