Guest guest
I went to a church function this weekend. One of the older couples had their grandson with them who is Logan's age. It was so obvious that he had plagiocelphaly. His poor right forhead was so bossed out, and his right side was REALLY flat. I just had to say something! I was a bit nervous, but I talked to the grandpa and asked him if he'd seen Logan at church with his band on. He said that he had, and I told him that Sebastians head reminded me of Logan's. I asked him if I could take a closer look and he said sure. So I held him, felt his head and boy, is it bad. The g-pa said " I always wondered about his head. " So they obviously have noticed it too. I pointed out his forehead, flat spot, larger right eye and how his right ear is pushed foreward. (I also said how cute he was.) The g-pa wrote down my number and a website with info to give to his daughter. I really hope he gets in a helmet. It just breaks my heart. He could have real jaw problems when he gets older, his right side is sooooo pushed forward. The saddest part is that this baby has had lots of medical problems and has been going to different doctors all the time. Not once has any of them mentioned his head shape!!! I really feel like Logan was meant to get plagio. God knew that I wouldn't be afraid to educate the world. -/Logan 7.5 months PA
Guest guest
Good job on noticing this and getting the grandpa and family educated. I hope I can do this to some other unfortunate families in the future. You know even if you help one family that is one child who might not have gotten help if it wasn't for you and Logan. My hat goes off to you and hopefully Sebastian will be taken care of. Keep us posted on what is going on with him. Guest guest
My DH says there is a guy he works with that has a very pronounced flat spot on the back of his head. I'm so glad we got the band! The down side to getting it is we are maxed out on our baby check ups. The band cost so much that our insurance won't cover any more doctor visits for .
