Kerri-

Did they tell you were approved over the phone or in writing. UHC

told me I was approved several times. I was even told I never

needed preauth. My friend works in insurance. She told us we

needed to go through all of this. We did and they then denied us.

We fought them all the way to the Dept of Ins. We were denied again

because UHC never had record of us calling.

Hope this doesn't burst your bubble. Just want you to have all your

ducks in a row. UHC is a bunch of creeps.

Oh Kerri :(

I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles, unfortunatley, I've heard of

other stories very similar to yours. I see another UHC

sufferer has replied to you already. I hope they do end up covering

the band - good luck & keep us posted.
