Not sure if this would help, but a low-tech way to keep them from rolling off an

incline in the mattress is to roll a large receiving blanket in a " U " shape

around the baby's bottom and sides. We were told to elevate the head of my

son's mattress due to possible reflux, bad gas, and his habitual head turn to

the right. He would constantly slide down the incline, though, which made it

ineffective and had us wake up just as much (when his head pressed against the

crib bars, he would wake up and let us know!). You could try putting the one

side of the " U " blanket under your baby's side and see if he will tolerate it

better than a thicker positioner.

Hope this might help -

I have had great luck with getting my son to turn his head the opposite way

using an incline wedge made for babies for reflux,(designed to raise the head

up) its a very small slope and what i did was position it sideways so that it

slightly elevate his right side and cause him to turn to the left. I also put

two tightly rolled blankets on either side of him to keep him from rolling over

due to the slope(its very small slope, he is at the bottom of the slope edge)

its soft and comfy and works well, hope it makes sense....

btw, if he still moves around too much I saw an idea about sewing velcro to the

back of the pajama and the wedge or pillow you use so that they stay on the

wedge or small pillow....I havn't had to do that but hear it works well!

try amazon.com's sleep positioner, the $80 dollar one, not the cheaper one.

Worked spectacularly for our girl! Kept her in it until 7 months old! It is

short, and some babies will dangle their legs off the end, but they seem

comfortable, don't mind it, and repositions really well!

it's called:

Summer Infant Symmetry Sleep Positioner - Summer Infant, Inc.

$79.99

I just looked it up and amazon says its currently unavailable. they only keep

a small inventory andit goes really fast. try doing a competitive internet

search.
