Guest guest
Hi, We went to Cranial Tech tonight...and things are getting good. Charlotte said will probably be done in 6 weeks..so that was good. She said Dr Hall will probably say a little earlier..but she thinks 6 weeks will be good. (Which Dr Hall did say about another month..maybe a bit longer) so they are on the same page. Charlotte said his ears are lining up much better now...the right one is still a little more forward..but definitely getting better. And she shaved more today. So i can wait another 6 weeks. I'm just glad to see his head rounding. It's not perfect, but it's a lot better. The right side still has to pop out a little more..and the whole back has to round more..but the right side is not nearly as noticeably flat as it was...and the back is rounding (going from the bottom moving up). She said it may never completely pop out in the back...but as long as it's getting better..it doesn't look funny anymore. I'm just so glad i decided to go with the helmet.. A friend i had met recently...has a baby..that is now 10 months old....and her daughter has a flat side on the right and the left side is buliging (kind of how 's was..but 's was worse to begin with). Anyway...she never did anything about it..and is listening to her dr that it will just stay that way but it won't be noticeable when she gets hair....i was kind of surprised that she agreed with that..and she sees and knows about the helmet. But i don't know her well enough to convince her to get the helmet...so i kind of just have to not say anything. I mean i asked once if she ever thought of doing anything about it..and she said that she didn't feel it was that bad and that most people's heads aren't perfect..and she doesn't want to do anything..so she isn't. Oh well. Anyway, that's it....Hope everyone else is doing good. Mom to
