Hi all. We got Gus' STAR band yesterday. It fit well and he is

adjusting to it nicely. But for some reason i have been feeling

really depressed about the whole affair. Tonight will be the last

time he will sleep without it for months and months. When he was

wearing it today I kept going to kiss him and kept banging into the

helmet. I just feel disoriented I guess. Did anyone else have this

experience?

I know I should feel grateful that he was diagnosed and is getting

help, and I AM thinking that, but I just don't feel it.

(Gus is 5.5. months today.)
