Congratulations Kayla!!!!!!

You did it little lady!! :o)

Great news Kathy- and we had very similar circumstances, banded at 5-8 months, and also a little flatness remaining in the back right, but it has rounded out since graduation a bit- so hopefully nature will take its course for your Kayla too!

Good News! Kayla is done wearing her helmet. We had our final Dr.'s appointment today. She has a small flat spot behind her ear that we expect will round out naturally. Does anybody else have experience with a small amount of flatness behind the ear? We can continue to wear the helmet if we'd like but we have not noticed any improvement in this area the whole time she has had the helmet. The Dr. thought is might be to small of an area to fit with the helmet.

In case anyone has missed this. Kayla was diagnosed at 2 months. We repositioned until she was 5 months. She was in her helment from 5 month until 8 month. She was diagnosed with a moderate case. We are extremely happy with our results from a passive helmet in such a short amount of time.

Congratulations Kayla!

Great job mom! I'm sure the parents getting passive helmets here in

the next few days will be thrilled to hear of Kayla's progress as

well!

Give that head lots of smooches!

Kathy:

Congradulations Kayla! Very happy for your success. She still has

time for any remaining flatness to round on it's own.

So happy you have such a great outcome, insurance came thru & Kayla

has a rounder head - woohoo!

Congrats Kathy and Kayla on a job well done!!!

My daughter had some residual flattening as well after she

graduated. But I have noticed that she did get more correction once

she was done with her band. I think the theory is, now that the head

has been encouraged to grow in the proper direction, it will continue

to do so!

Congrats again!

Hi Kathy, My son Chase also has a flat spot behind one of his

ears. He's only been in his helmet for almost a month. I've

already noticed improvement in the back of his head and

forehead, but not in this area yet.
