It is definitely NOT a bad thing to have a passive helmet!! Passive helmets in

the hands of an experienced orthotist can be as effective as an active band,

especially when your baby starts at a younger age. (4-5 months) My daughter wore

a passive helmet and we have no regrets at all about our choice!
