She really did a good job and I was so proud of her. The strength of our little one's is absolutely amazing. Thanks for the info about two bands. The orthotist had also said she could possibly wear one until 2 years of age. How come some people are getting done in 2-3 months and we are stuck possibly for over a year? I will keep everyone posted on her fitting on Tues. and how she tolerates it.

She didn't cry while he put the material on the back of her head but as soon as he put the second stocking cap on she started wailing. She really did very well...I was so surprised and proud of her. I am also happy to report I didn't cry once!!!! It only took about 5 minutes before we were all done. The orthotist answered all my questions and was very nice. He is the same person Ray of the group saw. Anyway, he said will probably need 2 helmets and could possibly wear one until 18 months. Is this common and have any of you had to do this? She gets fitted next Tues. and will be going back every 2-3 weeks for checkups and adjustments. Taryn I am glad did so well that is great! Cant wait to hear how well
