Guest guest Posted October 3, 2002 Report Share Posted October 3, 2002 Tayrn, I wouldn't say that a passive helmet is a bad thing. My ins co would of paid for to get a passive helmet. I chose not to go w/them because of 's age. And because I wanted this to be over and done with as quickly as possible! There are a lot of ppl on this board (Currently and in the past)that have used locally made helmets and have gotten great correction. It just takes longer in some cases. From what your ortho is saying, it sounds like your in it for the long haul. Hopefully will have no skin problems with her band.
