I plan on doing just that!! You guys have been such a godsend to me and I plan on staying around so other newbies can hear our story because I know what they are feeling!!! I also want to be able to inform people about tort also so there's a double benefit!!!

Taryn,Stick around and share your journey with other parents- that's what its all about, lending a hand to someone that's a few steps behind you and pulling them through! You've already gotten a lot of tread on plagio, so your shared information will no doubt help or inform someone else behind you.' Mom

  • 4 months later...

is doing great..thanks for asking!! She is really getting around now. She has finally figured out how to move both legs to get herself crawling and is into everything. She has virtually no tilt (not even when sick) and is going to be going down to once a month PT. She has made great strides in everything. She will be done with her helmet in April also!! I am so excited and can't believe how fast time went. Now, I will just have to get used to not seeing her in it. We've become used to seeing her wear it and she almost looks funny without it.

I'm glad is feeling better! Congratulations on virtually no tilt too! It took me a week to get used to Jenna without her helmet.

Taryn,

GREAT NEWS!! sounds like she is doing wonderfully, down to 1x a month with pt too- woohoo! Way to go Mom, I know you had a lot to do with her success! Before you know it, the helmet process will be over too and this chapter will be written, what a relief, huh? Keep up the good work and I can't wait to hear the latest and greatest on your cutie patootie!

Thanks for the words of encouragement. It's been a long and often frustrating road (which I know you know all too well about) but we are getting there. It warms my heart to see advancing developmentally and doing the things she's doing. I am so happy we decided to stick with it and some of the doctors along the way probably think we're crazy as a result of it. I know what we did was for and we can now tell her we did everything we did to make sure she had the best start in life. She has a helmet appt. on Thurs. We are also going to the Chicago Car Show.

Taryn, Your story and the fact that you’re

near the end and feel all this hard work is worth while gives the rest of us

who are just starting down this path great hope. Thanks for doing all that you do to support the rest of us

on top of supporting your precious little girl.
