That has been quite an accomplishment in itself!! :)

GOOD WORK MOM!!!! That is sooooo great to hear that you are finding her midline, a great accomplishment NO DOUBT- give yourself a big pat on the back and breath a new sigh of relief, your making progress!!! I know what your saying when you feel worried about regression when the tort is not yet fully resolved, we didn't start using the "resolve" word until he was about 15 months old, only because the tilt would still come and go (still does occassionally), but its usually when hitting milestones, growth spurts, sickness, and we didn't want to jinx our luck I think! So don't be too concerned when the tilt is the last to go, it doesn't mean that plagio will still be a concern, only that you should do your best to monitor that it does not recurr, repositioning, keeping Ems off the back of her head as much, etc. graduated at 8 months, and although he was close to resolve, he still had a tilt but he was able to rotate fully to the left, which was the big reason for the plagio, considering he could ONLY turn right physically, that's why the flat spot was created. They say that the skull is still maleable up to age 2, so there is still some growth going on, and I think once the DOC band has done its magic, it will all be in the right direction. Good luck and keep up the great work on the battle with tort! Your a super mom!

I didn't even consider the possibility of MORE rounding after the

band. That makes sense and is good to hear :) I've definitely been

working on trying to get Ems to sit up. She's a bit delayed in all

of her gross motor skills but I'm starting to see some improvement

day to day in her ability to balance and sit. I'm also trying to

resolve her tort (the main problem that is making me concerned about

regression), but I do have to say that since getting the band and

starting stretching I'll find her sleeping with her head midline.

That has been quite an accomplishment in itself!! :)
