Guest guest
Hi Kathy, We think I had undiagnosed Juvenile RA, though perhaps mild, in my hands. My index and middle fingers are very inflamed now and the joints swollen and sore. If I lay my hands down flat on a surface my middle fingers will not lay flat and they angle toward the little finger at the middle joint. My hands have bothered me off and on for as long as I can remember though gradually more and more recently. My doc thinks we caught it this time at the beginning of a flare. I had chemo in 1999 and we think that is what has triggered a long dormant RA. Normally any joint movement/damage is gradual. From the xrays my joint movement/damage isn't new. But I finally have a doc that said this isn't the normal "you're getting older and your joints are getting sore" thing. How quick does it destroy your joints? Kath My ANA and sed tests were negative/normal and my RF was only slightlyelevated. But the xrays sure show the story.Hugs,Jacy
Guest guest
Chiropractors must take xrays of your spine so they know how to treat you.
