Guest guest
Taryn, That is the difference between the 2. One is active meaning it actually redirects the growth of the head, by gentle pressure. Passive, means just that, passive. It sits on the head and when the head grows it will eventually grow into the shape of the helmet. If he is saying might be in it until she's 2, then it most definitely is a passive helmet. Correction happens faster with an active band because of the gentle pressure. Let us know how does when she gets it. > She really did a good job and I was so proud of her. The strength of our little one's is absolutely amazing. Thanks for the info about two bands. The orthotist had also said she could possibly wear one until 2 years of age. How come some people are getting done in 2-3 months and we are stuck possibly for over a year? I will keep everyone posted on her fitting on Tues. and how she tolerates it. > > Taryn and > Indiana > Re: 's casting pictures > > > Taryn: > before I forget, Kelli, our new member is looking for some help in > the Indianapolis area, are you nearby?? > Poor little tike I am gld to hear she did so well!
