Kendra,

The time and energy you have provided to this group has been a gift

to so many people. Your open minded attitude when the STARband was

first introduced over two years ago helped other parents realize

that there was another treatment option available and I thank you

for that. Now there are 17 different FDA cleared cranial designs

and little need for anyone to ever use one that has not passed the

scrutiny of the FDA.

The information you provided was always precise and based on fact.

Everyone on the list has been treated with respect with no

toleration for back stabbing or snipes. Above all, you have a

wonderful sense of fairness that has made it possible for people

throughout the world to share this very time-sensitive and

emotionally packed information in an informal, calm, and supportive

way.

I understand your need to step down. I've seen the posts from you

becoming less frequent, and figured that the plagiogroup was going

through a transition. I'm sure the group will go on to help a lot

of families find treatment and support for their little ones. But

there will always be a part of you, and hopefully a big part of your

impartiality and open-mindedness--that will continue for this group

of parents as they acquire information and receive support to make

good decisions for their babies. The insight this group provides to

orthotists and other health care professionals is also very valuable

and our inclusion helps us provide the best care for these precious

infants.

Thanks for your humor, and time, and wonderful ways. I know you put

the same energy and enthusiasm into whatever you pursue. Beautiful

Hannah and Max (with his nice round head) have already benefitted

from having an awsome person for a Mom. I'm sure you are blessed

with many friends, and will continue to touch many lives.

Don't be a stranger! Please let me know if there is anything I can

ever do for you.

Sincerely,

Dulcey Lima C.O. OTR/L
