's OCD manifestated it's ugly head in 8th grade and she was

hospitalized in mid April. We tried to put her back to school but she

was to sick and she might have gone two week and rehospitalized.

However, because she had good marks she passed grade 8. In grade 9 she

was to go high school with her twin sister but was hospitalized most

of the year. The following year she started grade 9. We started slowly

with her going for 3 subjects in the am. Second semester she went for

4. It wasn't easy she was calling me two to three times a day and at

first when she started I stayed at school in a room in the am in case

she needed me so she would feel secure. We had to drop to 3 subject

because 4 was to much. She passed her 9th grade but did not take gym

or art. Grade 10 we started with 4 subjects. She was allowed to get

out of class when she did not feel great which she did a lot and they

had a bed and she often used it to sleep. She often missed some

classes. We had made a deal with the counsellor that she was not to

call me because she was calling me to often to go get her almost 1/2

after she got to school. She is now in grade 11 things have improved

but school is still the hardest thing that is where she is most

anxious. From October through December seem to be the worst months for

her. Her twin sister is graduating this year and it breaks my heart I

am going to be sitting at the ceremony being happy for one and at the

same time being so sad for the other sitting beside me knowing that

she should also be graduating.
