question about CBT for rages?? - Chris

Hi

My dd has been on prozac for four years now. She was diagnosed with OCD at 4

years old. She always had tantrums, and always flipped out with her OCD

issues before her med. But once the prozac was started.........it was our

miracle

drug. It was only about a year or year and a half ago that we started seeing

the raging behavior. I NEVER thought it could be from the SSRI, just thought

it was OCD coming back or extreme anxiety. Now, I'm putting the pieces

together. But I'm confused as to how it would take 2 years on the prozac to

affect

her like this?? Our appointment is on Tuesday. I really don't want to put

her on another drug along with the prozac......maybe an SSRI switch???? My

heart just brakes because we don't have definitive testing or answers! I will

look into some other kind of CBT though, maybe non-OCD related?? I don't know.
