Guest guest
Hi , I can't find anyone in CA either ...they all say they can't even get insurance to approved it for their anemic cancer patients. The doctors here stated that Dr. Shoemaker must be in some research project and that is how he can get it. I think if we want it approved we are going to have to go to land and get a hotel for 14 days to do the treatement. Glad I'm not the only one having these issues trying to get it in my state. You can contact me offline if you wish. Christi in CA > For those of you being treated by Dr. Shoemaker, > were you able to get > Procrit preapproved by your insurance companies? Guest guest
How much does Procrit cost in Mexico, compared to the US? Just curious. Its criminal the way the drug companies make Americans subsidize their new-drug research for the entire world in this way. Its not fault that our legislators are corrupt and won't stand up to these robbers.
Guest guest
HOW LONG DOES 5 DOSES LAST? I MEAN, HOW OFTEN DO YOU TAKE IT? THANKS, V. Guest guest
Ah, corporate greed at it's finest. Has anyone seen the commericals for I think Merck? CIting that the foudner wanted to HELP people and created drugs and progrmas for those who can not afford them? Bull...I guess the old adage truth in advertising wentbye bye?? I know that there are ways a dr can help a patient get the meds, but, its a tedious process and sometimes if they a just *PAST* that income level they are again out of the loop......IT's a shame really.... Guest guest
It is a one time 5 dose treatment - 1 8000 unit dose injected every three days. Then treatment is stopped. I would be taking it to bring down my C4a level, which was 8208 and should be less than 2830 ng/ml. --- In , " " <toriaquilts@...> wrote: > > HOW LONG DOES 5 DOSES LAST? Guest guest
I haven't been down there yet, but I'm guessing $200 tops. It's a 2 1/2 drive for me now, and may be worth it... --- In , LiveSimply <quackadillian@...> wrote: > > How much does Procrit cost in Mexico, compared to the US? Guest guest
, If you are anemia (hemoglobin below 12), a hematologist can prescribe procrit. The classification most insurance companies will pay is " anemia associated with chronic disease " . Once your hemoglobin is above 12, the insurance company may stop paying. I haven't crossed that bridge yet.
