Guest guest
....just got a nice, fragrant shipment of EOs. I'm about to try my hand at blending my first perfume. I'm planning to use grain alcohol and distilled water as the base. I also have 1/2 oz amber bottles. Here's what I don't know: for a 1/2 oz of product, what's a rough guideline for the correct ratio of oil to base? I'm looking for a pretty strong perfume. I know that it will be somewhat dependent on the type/strength of the particular oils that I choose to use, but I just need a guideline to start. I don't want to " waste " any of my precious new oils by making a large batch of product that I may not like...so I want to mix directly in the 1/2 oz bottles (may totally be a rookie move, but hey - that's what I am!). Can anyone help me? Thanks!
