Guest guest
Hello everyone! I've been studying with Mandy Aftel's Natural Perfume Workbook and just started making my first liquid perfume--based on her Jasmine perfume recipe in Aroma. I would like to make a more complex solid than just plain Jasmine, but am worried that some of the expensive ingredients in the liquid perfume might get lost. The liquid perfume version calls for Peru Balsam resin, Fir Absolute, Labdanum absolute, grandiflorum jasmine concrete, jasmine sambac absolute, grandiflorum jasmine ab, coriander et, and sweet orange eo. Can any of you more experienced NPers weigh in on the possible outcome of making a solid from this perfume? Thanks so much, I really appreciate it! I say go for it - you'll learn from your experience even if it's not quite what you want.
