Guest guest
Hi everybody Patty, your friendly neighborhood moderator, here. Just a reminder to trim your posts. This means that when you reply to a message, delete anything in the previous post(s) that isn't absolutely necessary to make sense of your response. Be merciless - trim away! Sometimes you can even delete the entire previous post because the subject header says it all. Also, some folks still haven't got the hang of bottom posting and continue to top-post. Try to remember to respond to the previous post UNDER it, rather than ON TOP of it. Makes it easier to follow a thread coherently. Especially if it has been dutifully edited. Many of the moderators here, including our own dear list mom, have a lot of irons in the fire right now and don't have a lot of time to edit your posts. This means that if you are on moderation status, you may have to wait a while for your post to show up. But if you can handle the above instructions, we can take you off of moderation. That makes less work for us and your posts will show up almost immediately. Win-win! Thanks to all! Patty
