It's a matter of personal preference. Plenty of people start taking it

at high body fat percentages. They like the strength and recovery

benefits and know that they'll have some nice muscles waiting for them

as they get leaner. Some people like to wait until they're

" thin-skinned " enough to actually see the changes in their muscles.

Some people are compulsive scale watchers and will never do well on

it. Building some nice lean muscle can slow the scale down just enough

to make them feel huge and bulky and hopeless. It's your call as to

whether it would help you or make you crazy. :-)

Well since you're trying to gain weight/muscle, it probably means

you're still undereating. Either you're breaking even and nothing is

happening. Or you're gaining some lean mass, but your body fat is

dropping at the same rate. And that's not good because it would mean

your percentage of body fat is going down from the 10% where it was.

For somebody who's trying to lose fat, normally they gain in the first

week or two of taking Betagen, but then the fat loss overtakes that

muscle and water gain and the scale starts dropping again. It just

doesn't drop as quickly or dramatically as someone who's not taking

Betagen. Their fat loss and physical changes may be very dramatic, but

the scale doesn't reflect it as well because of the increased lean

mass.

where it was. Does that mean it's not working or is that a dumb question?
