Guest guest
Anyone else experience some early symptoms of menopause from RA? Saw the gynecologist today and got a funky device for delivering estrogen locally. My main complaint is dryness. I'm only 43; the doc thought it was RA related, as " RA can affect mucousal tissues " . Thought I'd check in with the rheumatologist before starting the estrogen. Comments? S. Guest guest
It's my understanding that some women do see an increase in asthma symptoms in relation to their menstrual cycle. My pulmo mentioned something about this but I don't have an explanation. I think most of us started seeing improvement in months 3 and 4, so give it some time. Good luck! Guest guest
Many moderately to severely asthmatic women have reported this to me. It has something to do with the hormone fluctuation. Physicians in larger areas & research schools are the best to deal with this as they have seen it more. You are not crazy, and not " allergic " to your cycle Pat --------------------------------- Never miss an email again! Toolbar alerts you the instant new Mail arrives. Check it out.
