Guest guest
What smells to you are classy (maybe you'd expect the president to be wearing something reminiscent of it)? [Happy Obama Presidential Election (HOPE) day!]
Guest guest
Vetiver smells like classy Presidential elegance to me, as do Black Pepper and Lime. And I love whatever Grey Flannel has in it (not a natural, I know: I blame a male teacher I had a crush on in 11th grade, who used to wear it). Has anyone created a natural version of it? Guest guest
> Vetiver smells like classy Presidential elegance to me, as do Black > Pepper and Lime. I totally agree. I had down: Most likely candidates for me: sandalwood, labdanum rose, jasmine bergamot, petitgrain sur fleur It should be sharply mild, distinctly memorable, and mysterious. Jasmine itself is endlessly mysterious. I was afraid to say vetiver because it also smells slightly raunchy to me, but I think in particular vetiver and sandalwood make for a classy thing. Guest guest
you're right-vetiver does have an edge of funk to it, but i thinkĀ it's a kinda funky elegance! sandalwood definitely would add a more refined feel... it's 1:35 am here in london and obama just took pennsylvania! i'm not one to count my chickens before they're fried-but shall i set up my table and start on a fragrance for our new President? and would it be wrong to call it " BO " ? lol... in London

Guest guest
I agree Vetiver is one of my most fave EOs - but my hubby says it smells like a roach bomb...something he was familiar with in his childhood- but I mix it with a dark or really nice patchouli and sometimes a sandalwood key accord and it is an irresistable scent and my fave. I buy from the perfumers apprentice and the 3 that I mentioned are the ones that I only buy from her- they are just amazing and her prices are great too! Thanks, and blessing s to you all~ AngelHawk
