Using the NP site for networking to other sites and causes

Hello All,

I just got an e-mail message from someone who said they're a lurker

here. The e-mail had nothing to do with natural perfume, natural

cosmetics, or even soap or (heaven forbid) NON-natural perfume. It

was ailment-related.

I just wanted to say that I'm sure we're all happy to share info with

each other about the subjects that are close to our natural perfume

raison d'etre here. But I for one am NOT okay with people I don't

know and have never even heard of contacting me privately to share

information (send me links to Web sites that are selling the latest

panacea for damn-all, etc.) about things not related to this site. If

I were interested in those other things, I'd belong to a group about

those things. This is NP. That's what I'm here for. Yes, we all

like to stray O/T here and there, and really, that also keeps things a

little more personal and interesting here at times too. But please,

people, do not contact folks on this list to sell things not related.

It's really not appreciated.
