My passion has turned to perfume, as I see so many similarities with components in wine, to components in perfume the specific varietal or plant, the terroir, the production methods, and the influence of the maker, be it a winemaker or nose! I¢ve put this exploration on the back burner for far too long! I want to learn as much as possible, and start to develop my own blends. Scent is so incredibly personal (as is wine), and conjures wonderful memories, as also does wine. But, enough of the comparisons! I¢m so intrigued by the artisanal nature of products, production and packaging, whereby the soul of the product is present and differentiated. This may be a hobby of mine initially, but I will approach it as I have with everything with the utmost vigor! I very much look forward to this journey!
