I would say that things that open the heart and touch emotions,

" Aromantic " scents like rose and jasmine just embody the feminine

anima and fresh invigorating scents invoke a masculine animus energy -

but we all contain both within us, right? Then here is sandalwood

which rides between the worlds. " Feminine " scents perhaps have quality

of moisture and fragility? Lunar? " Masculine " , Solar scents are

enduring , woody or heat loving?

Perhaps I generalize too much....thinking archetypically out loud.

Scent tends to transcend but at the same time call forth the primal.
